The Corner has moved!

The food options previously offered by the Corner have been expanded and are now available in Thornbrough House 144, adjacent to the Housing and Residence Life Offices! The new store style space offers our residents more grocery and premade food options making living on campus that much more convenient!

The game and movie selections, entertainment system, student computer and print stations, and other amenities available for student use will be relocated to the Community Office located in Orvis 170 and the Social Justice Center, located in Walker House 165.

The Corner is located at 415 Porto Alegre Street, adjacent to the entrance to apartment building Orvis and in the heart of the campus apartments. This is where residents will come to pick up their packages.

This area is approximately 945 square feet and is home to a convenience store. For starters, the Corner offers the residents hot and cold beverages ranging from coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sodas, juices, and water. Other amenities include toiletries, household items, and school supplies, such as toothbrushes, paper towels, computer paper, floss, pens, pencils, etc. The Corner also offers a wide variety of food selection which includes candy, frozen pizza, ice cream, macaroni and cheese, chips, yogurt, pudding, and much more!

Vision

To become the hub of activity, the central point of resident interaction, for The Campus Apartments on the Riverwalk.

Mission

The Corner serves as a community space for positive resident interaction while providing convenience to our residents by offering reasonably priced day to day goods. In addition, The Corner helps support the academic mission of IUPUI through employing students who live on campus and providing an environment where residents can study. Finally, The Corner helps create a positive community by partnering with the Residence Life staff to provide programs that benefit our residents.
