Day of Caring
Day of Caring

Friday, October 2, 2009
9 am - noon, with lunch following
(Registration begins at 8:30 am)

IUPUI's United Way Day of Caring is an annual campus tradition.  During the Day of Caring, teams of IUPUI students, faculty, staff and guests volunteer at non-profits across greater Indianapolis.  In 2006, we moved the IUPUI Day of Caring to a Friday to better accommodate faculty and staff team involvement. Please consider putting together a team of your co-workers, colleagues or classmates and spend a Friday volunteering.

Note: All IUPUI employees must receive permission from their supervisor to participate if the volunteer opportunity is during normal work hours.

All participants will be volunteering with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, painting murals, gardening and aiding in a large clean-up.

Team leaders should gather their group member names and emails before registering. If you have already registered and need to add, subtract or correct your submissions, please email the Office of Community Service at commserv@iupui.edu directly, or call (317) 278-9651.

Thank you to our IUPUI Day of Caring Volunteers. Our apologies but registration is now closed.

IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
